A Single-Vehicle Accident Occurred Thursday Morning on County Road 22, Approximately Two Miles East of Centre

The crash happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. when a female driver lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned in a yard.

The driver sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to a local Atrium Health Floyd facility for treatment.

The Centre Police Department, Centre Fire Department, and Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency all responded to the scene.
