The Gadsden Police Department is on the scene of a shooting incident at the East Gadsden Walmart. Earlier, shots were fired into multiple vehicles with No Injuries being reported.

Public Information Officer, Dusty Ford, tells WEIS Radio News, the incident when an argument broke out between two groups, guns were drawn and shots fired. Fortunately, No One Was Injured. Ford said this was an isolated incident and the Gadsden Police are processing evidence and looking for those responsible to bring them to justice. He said, “We Want People to Come to Gadsden to enjoy all the City has to offer and We Want Everyone To be Safe”.

There will be a continued Police Presence at the facility for an undetermined period of time while officers investigate the incident and gather evidence from the scene.
