Cherokee County Chamber Hosts Small Business Luncheon

CENTRE- The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a luncheon Tuesday afternoon for local small business owners and managers, featuring a presentation from the Alabama Small Business Development Center.
Taylor Findley, a Business Advisor with the Alabama Small Business Development Center (SBDC), served as the guest speaker and shared information about the wide range of services the organization provides to businesses in the area.
During the presentation, Findley explained that the SBDC works with entrepreneurs at every stage of business development. Services include helping individuals explore the possibility of starting a new business, assisting with the process of establishing a Limited Liability Company (LLC), and providing guidance on how to prepare for business loans and financing.
Findley also noted that the SBDC supports established businesses by offering assistance with long-term planning, including developing exit strategies for business owners.
The SBDC partners with local chambers of commerce to provide these services free of charge to chamber members.
