ALEXANDRIA – Cherokee County could only muster four hits in an 8-0 area softball shutout at Alexandria.
Kaylee Lewis and Aubrey Pack both had a hit and a walk for the Lady Warriors. Brooklynn Bruce and Sydni Frost both finished with a hit.
Alexandria scored single runs in the bottom of the first, third, and fourth innings. The Lady Cubs closed out the game with two runs in the fifth and three more in the sixth for the final.
Cherokee County is at Spring Garden on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
