SYLVANIA – The Collinsville Panthers scored six runs in the top of the first inning and 10 more in the third to take a 16-0 area baseball win over Sylvania on Tuesday.
Gavin Lang and Jacob Niles both collected a pair of hits, including a double, with two runs and two RBIs for the Panthers (16-2). Mason McAteer also managed a pair of hits, a walk, two runs and two RBIs.
Sylas Adams doubled, walked, scored two runs, and had two RBIs. Brantley Daugherty delivered a hit, a walk, two runs, and three RBIs. Noah Johnson collected a hit, two runs, and a RBI. Jeremiah Killian contributed a hit, two walks, and a run. Logan McAteer finished with a hit. Bronner Jones had a run and a RBI. Colton Pettus walked and scored a run. Chase Godshall scored a run.
Lang tossed three innings of one-hit ball with seven strikeouts. Adams worked two innings and gave up two hits with a walk and two strikeouts.
Collinsville hosts Sylvania on Thursday.
