Anniston City Council Recognizes Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

ANNISTON — At this week’s city council meeting, Anniston city leaders presented a proclamation recognizing Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. The honor was accepted by Pati Tiller, Executive Director of The Arc of Calhoun and Cleburne Counties, along with a member of the organization’s board.
The Arc of Calhoun and Cleburne Counties provides vital services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The organization offers support, education, advocacy, and public awareness initiatives, helping individuals achieve their personal goals and live full, meaningful lives.
The City of Anniston expressed gratitude for the continued impact of The Arc and reaffirmed its commitment to recognizing and supporting organizations that strengthen the community for all residents.
