Jasper rallies past Cherokee County softball in Gulf Shores Classic III

GULF SHORES – Jasper rallied for four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take a 5-4 win over Cherokee County in the Gulf Shores Classic III softball tournament on Monday morning.

Sofie Dawson and Kaylee Lewis both had a pair of hits for the Lady Warriors. Lewis also drew a walk and scored a run.

Izzy Patterson had a hit and scored a run. Brooklynn Bruce, Kar’leigh Bowman, and Anna Morris were all 1-for-3. Emma Eberhart scored a run and had a RBI. Emma Hill drew a walk.

The Lady Warriors take on Fayetteville (Ark.) in their next tournament game at noon on Monday.
