(Cedar Bluff, Al) Alabama highway 9 was shut down for more than 2 hours Tuesday afternoon due to an 18 wheeler accident north of Cedar Bluff near Victory Baptist Church.

The 18 wheel truck went out of control and overturned spilling its cargo of solar panels. The roadway was blocked for more than 2 hours while the wreck was being cleaned up. The Crash occurred around 4 pm. Southbound traffic was rerouted onto county road 751 with northbound traffic routed onto county road 92.

There were no injuries reported. Cedar Bluff Fire, Gaylesville Fire and Alabama State Troopers responded.
