SAND ROCK – Maddie Clanton scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Class 2A, No. 4 Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 47-38 victory over Piedmont in basketball action on Monday.
Molly Grace Lay managed 10 points, six assists, and four steals for the Lady Wildcats (19-10). Macey Pruitt posted eight points and five steals. Kaylee Burns finished with four points and five rebounds.
Sand Rock hosts Sylvania on Tuesday.
