In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Ernest Marshall, age 45 of Brighton, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charles Walker, age 44 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Gregory Reed, age 52 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 88 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
