FYFFE — The Fyffe Red Devils trailed early and held off Sand Rock late to earn a 57-54 basketball win on Tuesday.

Jonas Browder led the Wildcats with 19 points, six rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Wyatt Miller delivered 17 points and 11 rebounds. Will Cleere collected 10 points, two rebounds, two steals and an assist. Thomas Snead finished with six points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block.

Patrick Wilbanks tossed in a game-high 29 points , including seven 3-pointers, to top Fyffe’s scorers. Daniel Cardoso came away with 10 points. Jaden Hammonds finished with seven points.

Sand Rock led 13-8 at the end of the first quarter, but the Red Devils rallied to take a 26-21 halftime advantage. Fyffe held a 44-38 edge after three quarters.

Sand Rock is at Hokes Bluff on Thursday.
