SPRING GARDEN – Laci Jo McMurray sank four 3-pointers and had 13 total points. She also had an assist and a steal to lead the Spring Garden Lady Panthers to a 35-28 basketball win over Gaston on Tuesday.

Maya Jennings managed nine points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Carmen Truss contributed seven points, three rebounds, and a steal. Addie Word added five points, five rebounds, three blocks, two assists, and two steals. Kylie Bates finished with seven rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a block.

Spring Garden led 12-4 at the end of the first quarter and held an 18-12 advantage at halftime. The Lady Panthers took a 29-21 edge at the end of the third quarter.

Spring Garden plays at Cedar Bluff on Friday.
