ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala.– The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.
John William “Billy” Malcom, a 35-year-old white male, was last seen on New Year’s Day near Alford’s Bend and Riverside Drive, close to the Coosa River. Malcom is six-foot-four, weighs about 190 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
Sheriff Jonathan Horton says investigators have limited information and are concerned for Malcom’s safety. He urges anyone with information—no matter how small—to contact authorities.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office at 256-546-2825. Tips may also be submitted anonymously to Central Alabama Crime Stoppers.
