TALLAPOOSA Ga. — Ellisan Givens collected 24 points, six rebounds, five steals, and four assists in leading the Cherokee County Lady Warriors to a 74-28 basketball win over Cedartown (Ga.) in the Haralson County Invitational on Monday.
Brooklynn Bruce tossed in 13 points including three 3-pointers. Deannia Starr delivered 12 points and nine rebounds. Nevaeh Gaidurgis added 14 rebounds, three points, and three assists. Taniya Fife finished with seven points, five rebounds, and a pair of steals.
Kenzlei Boozer led Cedartown with 10 points. Camille Solomon connected on three treys and finished with nine points.
Cherokee County jumped out to a 26-5 advantage in the first quarter and held a 40-14 edge at halftime. The Lady Warriors led 65-24 after three quarters.
Cherokee County takes on Central Carrollton in the tournament on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
