FREEPORT, Fla. – Jonas Browder led three Sand Rock Wildcats in double figures with 25 points, including three 3-pointers, in a 69-64 basketball victory over Tupelo Christian Academy (Miss.) in the Hilton Sandestin Beach Blowout on Monday.
Browder also contributed four rebounds, three assists, and a steal for the Wildcats.
Elijah Hood collected 18 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, with three assists, two steals, and a rebound. Will Cleere managed 13 points, five rebounds, three steals, and an assist. Wyatt Miller finished with seven points, 11 rebounds, and two assists.
Colin Russel led Tupelo Christian with 25 points, including a pair of treys. Knox Hensley tossed in 19 points, including two 3-pointers. Jack Decker delivered 11 points and Jaxon Smith finished with seven points.
Sand Rock led 17-13 at the end of the first quarter and held a 37-22 advantage at halftime. Tupelo Christian cut the Wildcat lead to 54-47 after three quarters.
Sand Rock plays Lakeshore (La.) on in the tournament on Tuesday.
