Gadsden Police Department

Early  Saturday morning, Gadsden Fire responded to a reported structure fire in the 1200 block of Robinson Avenue in East Gadsden. While performing their duties, firefighters discovered a deceased adult male inside the residence.

Gadsden Police patrol officers responded and secured the scene, and detectives were later called in to begin a thorough investigation. Investigators are working diligently to determine exactly what occurred.

The investigation is ongoing, and we are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual in the Robinson Avenue area overnight or in the early morning hours to come forward. Even information that may seem small could be important as we work to bring answers and justice for this individual and their family.
