SAND ROCK – Macey Pruitt and Maddie Clanton both posted double-doubles in leading the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 53-36 area basketball win over Cedar Bluff on Tuesday.

Pruitt posted 16 points, 11 rebounds, and six steals, while Clanton contributed 10 points and 11 boards for the Lady Wildcats (6-2). Kaylee Burns delivered nine points and 10 rebounds. Hadlie Weaver had seven points, and Molly Grace Lay finished with six points, six assists, and three steals.

Ciana Smith led Cedar Bluff (8-2) with 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. She also had six rebounds, and three steals. Scarlett Brown netted nine points, had an assist and a steal. Kylie Vadon finished with eight points, four steals, three rebounds, two assists, and a block.

Cedar Bluff hosts Pleasant Valley in another area game on Friday. Sand Rock is at Cherokee County on Thursday.
