Nathan Levon Jennings, age 76, passed away suddenly on November 26, 2025 at AdventHealth Redmond Hospital.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2 from 5 – 7 pm at Perry Funeral Home in Centre, AL.

He is survived by his son Kane Jennings (Laura) and grandchildren,  Ian and Lily Jennings.

He shaped the lives of many as a caring high school teacher and coach at Cherokee County High School and profoundly impacted those who were fortunate to know him as a father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Renae Jennings, and his brother, Roger Darrell Jennings.

Mr. Jennings was a native of Centre, AL and the son of the late Joe John (Jr.) and Mary Edith (Henson) Jennings.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the memory of Nathan Jennings to Cherokee County High School to support the Science Department and tennis teams.
