In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Rodney Newton, age 52 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of the violation of a domestic violence protection order.

Isabella Smith, age 22 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brandon Kilgore, age 39 of Heflin, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of two counts of probation revocation, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Caleb Ellison, age 22 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lori Pizano, age 37 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Bridgett Brooks, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Aaron Williams, age 34 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

John Akin, age 55 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of sexual misconduct.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 95 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
