Structure Fire in Anniston Contained
No Injuries Reported
ANNISTON, Ala. — A residential structure fire in the Blue Mountain community was brought under control Tuesday night after Anniston Fire Department crews responded to a heavily involved home on West 32nd Street.

Firefighters were dispatched to the private dwelling earlier in the evening, where they encountered significant flames and were forced to operate defensively for safety. According to information released by the Anniston Fire Department, no injuries were reported.
By 8:18 p.m., crews had contained the fire and were conducting overhaul operations to ensure all remaining hot spots were extinguished. At 10:04 p.m., officials confirmed the fire was fully out and emergency personnel had cleared the scene.
Authorities asked residents to avoid the area throughout the incident to give firefighters space to work safely.
The cause of the fire has not yet been released.
