In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Brittany Moultrie, age 36 of Duluth, Georgia, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of 1st degree unlawful possession of marijuana, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Timothy Nail, age 37 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Kavita Sawant, age 52 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 99 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
