In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Matthew Bernard, age 41 of Oneonta, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Joey Tierce, age 54 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Jeremy Garrison, age 42 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of 1st degree unlawful possession of marijuana and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Marsha Brown, age 62 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Tonya Deavers, age 36 of Sand Rock, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 101 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
