Three Women Arrested on Drug Charges After Traffic Stop in Rome
ROME, Ga. — Three women were taken into custody Wednesday following a traffic stop on East Second Avenue that led to the discovery of drugs, according to Floyd County Jail records.
Police reported finding 132 oxycodone pills and a small bag of marijuana inside the vehicle. Officers said two of the pills were thrown out of the window during the stop in an apparent attempt to avoid arrest.
The suspects were identified as 67-year-old Donna Faye Allison and 39-year-old Jill Marie Amaya, both of Aragon, along with 53-year-old Alvina Lynn Martinez of Rome.

All three women are charged with attempt or conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drugs not in the original container, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
