Sand Rock competitive, but falls short in four volleyball matches in Coosa Invitational Tournament

COOSA, Ga – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats went to deciding sets in four matches at the Coosa (Ga.) Invitational Tournament, but fell short in each match on Saturday.

The Lady Wildcats (1-4) lost to Dade County 21-25, 26-24, 14-16, lost to Coosa 25-15, 14-25, 6-15, lost to Northwest Whitfield 25-15, 21-25, 4-15, and lost to Dade County again 20-25, 25-19, 9-15.

Aubie Camp posted 61 digs for the Lady Wildcats. Maddie Clanton collected 74 assists, four blocks, six aces and 11 kills. Molly Grace Lay contributed 24 kills, 30 digs and six aces.

Addisyn McMichen managed 20 kills. Emma Sipsy delivered 17 kills, 36 digs and five aces. Alyvia Browder had 15 kills and 3 blocks. Macy Martin finished with six aces and 22 digs

Sand Rock travels to Spring Garden for a tri-match with White Plains on Tuesday.
