Sand Rock volleyball competes in Glencoe Invitational

GLENCOE — The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats went 2-3 at the Glencoe Volleyball Invitational on Saturday.

The Lady Wildcats defeated Jacksonville 26-24, 25-16 and Etowah 25-14, 25-13. They lost to DAR 20-25, 15-25, White Plains 17-25, 14-25, and Glencoe in the first round of Gold Bracket 11-25, 13-25.

For the day, Maddie Clanton collected 56 assists, 37 digs, and four blocks. Paitlyn Hughes had 43 digs and 14 kills. Caitlyn Lynch delivered 18 kills, five aces, and five blocks. Megan Smith contributed 16 kills, 31 digs, and three blocks.

Molly Grace Lay came away with 36 digs and three aces. Emma Sipsy posted 35 digs and six kills. Macey Pruitt finished with 12 kills and five blocks.
