In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Jackson Wells, age 24 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Gary Hill, age 59 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 89 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
