Cowan Creek Lodges Officially Open

The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, local dignitaries, and friends gathered with the owners of the all new Cowan Creek Lodges to do the Ribbon Cutting Wednesday morning at 10.

Cowan Creek Lodges is located at 5360 County Road 22 east of Centre on the former “Pruett’s” location. After much renovation, rebuilding, and importing the property now boasts 16 independent Cabins which will sleep 4 to 5 people located right on the banks of Cowan Creek of Weiss Lake. There is also a store with grocery items, fishing supplies and snacks for those utilizing the property. Pontoon boat rentals and kayaks are available for those renting the cabins. These Cabins are modern design with the rustic feel and charm including the screened porch.

Trudy Williams is the property manager who oversees the day-to-day operations.

John and Cissy Williams are the owners, with Weiss Lake Concierge assisted with identifying employees and management staff.
