Mr. Dennis Charles Armstrong Sr. age 65 of Centre, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at RMC in Anniston. A funeral service will be held Monday August 25, 2025 in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00PM with Rev. Tim Smith officiating, the family will receive friends from 1:00PM till the time of service at the funeral home, burial will follow in Noah Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Family and friends with Tim Stinson and Daniel Inman serving as honorary pallbearers.
Dennis was born December 02, 1959 in Chicago IL and later moved to Alabama in the early 60’s. He graduated from Cherokee County High School class of 1978. He was an avid Alabama football and NASCAR fan and country music really brought out the best in him. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly and enjoyed the time he had with them.
He is survived by his children; Dennis Armstrong Jr. (Ellen), Justin Armstrong (Joanna), and Holley Armstrong (Daniel), sister: Linda Nabors (Thomas), grandchildren; Savannah Armstrong, Raylan Armstrong, Chloe Armstrong, Christian Bryant Armstrong, Colten Inman, Maya Inman, special friends; Joan Stinson, and Sue Hawkins, several nieces , nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Charles & Maxine Walker Armstrong, and his sister; Diane Hendon.
Perry Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangments.
