Cedar Bluff volleyball splits with Jacksonville, Piedmont

PIEDMONT – The Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers split their first two matches of the 2025 volleyball season on Thursday at Piedmont. They lost to Jacksonville 25-18, 25-16, then rebounded to defeat Piedmont 25-16, 25-19.

In the loss to Jacksonville, Rylie Walker delivered 11 assists and four digs. Kindal Grace gained seven kills, an ace, and a pair of digs. Paityn Walker posted four kills and a block. Blakelea Hall had a pair of kills and a pair of digs.

In the win over Piedmont, Rylie Walker contributed nine assists and three digs. Grace delivered eight kills. Paityn Walker collected five digs, two kills, two blocks, and an ace. Anslee Evans had three digs, an ace, a block, and a kill. Vana Martin finished with 10 digs.

Cedar Bluff plays in a tournament at Coosa, Ga., on Saturday.
