Albertville Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 431

ALBERTVILLE, Ala. — A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of an Albertville woman Sunday evening, according to the Marshall County Coroner’s Office.

The incident occurred around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Kilpatrick Road and U.S. Highway 431. Authorities identified the victim as 53-year-old Elena Montejo Lopez, a resident of Albertville.

Lopez was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the collision. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Albertville Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No additional details have been released at this time.
