In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Kaleb Johnson, age 24 of Centre,was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 1st degree receiving stolen property.

Natasha Slaton, age 36 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 4th degree theft of property, two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, 1st degree theft of property, and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

James Fuqua, age 34 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 73 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
