In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Travis Proctor, age 42 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Ashley Smith, age 37 of Jacksonville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jessica Lecroy, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of resisting arrest, attempting to elude, and disorderly conduct.

Jacob Barnett, age 31 of Albertville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Cameron Jackson, age 38 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Austin Cline, age 30 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by the Alabama Department of Public Safety on hold for another agency.

Toby Pace, age 47 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree theft of property.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 95 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
