In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Carl Crabtree, age 42 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of distributing a private image, domestic violence 3rd degree harassing communications, and 1st degree making a terrorist threat.

Justin Maxwell, age 37 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of resisting arrest.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 94 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
