In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Buddy Jenkins, age 58 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of driving under the influence.

Brandon Smith, age 39 of Trion, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of bond revocation-1st degree theft of property and bond revocation-3rd degree burglary.

Timothy Allen, age 26 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on hold for another agency.

Dakota Godfrey, age 30 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Mikel McGatha, age 46 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joshua Cecil, age 40 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 101 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
