In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Justin Dutton, age 31 of Centre, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Zacary Smith, age 44 of Centre, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of 2nd degree escape and for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Jacob Hill, age 37 of New Hope, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Willie Epps, age 46 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 115 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
