In the Cherokee County Arrest Files:

Brady Crane, age 23 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of violating the prohibition law.

Billy Smith, age 51 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of 1st degree unlawful possession of marijuana, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and attempting to elude.

Victor Lyles, age 28 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Jayden Cowser, age 20 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 119 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
