In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Elizabeth Bridges, age 44 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brittany Edwards, age 32 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Dylan Edwards, age 32 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Brandie Holliday, age 45 of Hokes Bluff, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence.

Christopher Hanson, age 44 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence.

Terry Chapman, age 57 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Eric Norton, age 46 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on two previous charges.

John Weatherly, age 41 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 116 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
