SAND ROCK– WEIS Radio has received reports of a widespread water outage affecting the Sand Rock area.
A representative with the Northeast Alabama Water District in Fort Payne confirmed that a substantial leak caused the outage. The district serves the affected area.
Crews are aware of the leak and working to complete repairs. However, the water district does not currently have an estimated time for repairs or the restoration of water service.
WEIS Radio will continue monitoring the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
