GAYLESVILLE– A Highway 35 closure caused traffic to be rerouted in Gaylesville early Thursday after a box truck left the roadway.
The accident happened before 4 a.m. near the area where County Road 565 intersects Highway 35 twice.
No injuries were reported.
Highway 35 Closure During Vehicle Recovery
Fagan’s Wrecker Service responded to recover the box truck. Authorities closed Highway 35 and rerouted traffic while crews completed the recovery operation.
The Highway 35 closure lasted about two hours. The roadway reopened at approximately 8:30 a.m.
State troopers are investigating the accident.
