CEDAR BLUFF-The Cedar Bluff Fire Department raffle fundraiser is underway, giving the community a chance to support local firefighters while entering for a chance to win a Ruger American Predator .308 rifle.

Tickets are $20 each or six tickets for $100. The fundraiser began July 5 and will continue through August 18. The drawing is scheduled for August 18, and the winner does not have to be present to win.

The raffle is being hosted by the Cedar Bluff Fire Department to help support the department and the firefighters who serve the Cedar Bluff community.

Every ticket purchased helps support the department’s ongoing work. Local fire departments depend on community support, and fundraisers like this help provide another way for residents to give back to those who respond when they are needed.

Tickets may be purchased by contacting Cedar Bluff Town Hall or by seeing any Cedar Bluff Fire Department firefighter.

The department is thanking the community for its continued support and encouraging residents to take part in the fundraiser.
