Mr. Terry Lynn Lawson, age 71, of Gaylesville, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mark Cosby officiating.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jill Lawson; son, Tyler (Kathryn) Lawson; daughter, Tera (Kevin) Walker; brother, Dale Lawson; grandchildren, Katie Rose (Deacon) McDaniel, Nolan Walker, Eli Walker, Joshua Lawson, Anna Lawson, Samuel Lawson, and Julia Lawson; great-grandson, Archie Thomas McDaniel; chosen family, George and Beverly Mobbs; and his beloved fur baby, Copper.

Terry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was known for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and the many friendships he made throughout his life. Terry retired from J Supply after 23 years of dedicated service, a career he greatly enjoyed because of the people he met and the lasting relationships he built along the way.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pro-Health Hospice, especially Marley and Monik, for their compassionate care, support, and kindness during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to the Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church Debt Retirement Fund.
