In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
John Mitchell, age 41 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence.
Cedric Howard, age 41 of Minter, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the use or possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia and the sale or possession of hemp.
Jacob Poole, age 31 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 1st degree theft of property and 3rd degree burglary.
Hazel Burgess, age 65 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking meth, and 1st degree unlawful possession of marijuana, as well as for failure to appear on four previous charges.
Bradley Staggs, age 42 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree burglary.
Kansas Robinson, age 43 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 81 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
