In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

John Fann, age 32 of Huntsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Christopher Davis, age 37 of Anniston, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Michael Peed, age 39 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Jackie Jones, age 50 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.

James Reynolds, age 54 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 2nd degree escape and for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Daryl Turner, age 62 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by AL Pardon & Parole on a charge of parole violation and for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Timothy Strickland, age 44 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 86 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
