Three Arrested for Chemical Endangerment Following Drug Investigation
On Wednesday night, deputies and investigators with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the Kirk’s Grove community after receiving complaints of suspected drug activity in the area.
During the search, deputies located illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside the residence. As a result, three individuals were arrested:
• Heather Bray, 44, of Centre, was charged with Chemical Endangerment of a Child, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

• Zachary Gossett, 36, of Centre, was charged with Chemical Endangerment of a Child, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
• Brooke Gossett, 35, of Centre, was charged with Chemical Endangerment of a Child, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

“Illegal drugs continue to have a negative impact on our communities and our families,” said Sheriff Shaver. “Our deputies and investigators work hard every day to keep Cherokee County safe, and information from the public plays an important role in that effort. When residents report suspicious activity, it helps us identify problems and take action. If you see suspicious activity in your neighborhood, please contact us. Working together, we can continue making Cherokee County a safer place to live.”
