In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Sandra Simons, age 73 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 4th degree theft of property.

Rakeem Williams, age 33 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and 1st degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 82 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
