In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Charles Atkins, age 50 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of driving under the influence.

Erika Day, age 29 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Jimmy Roland, age 56 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of probation violation.

Kailey White, age 25 of Mentone, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Chelsie Taylor, age 33 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on four previous charges.

Allison Claridy, age 30 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of driving under the influence and resisting arrest.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 82 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
