In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Fredrick Moncrief, age 56 of Hokes Bluff, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Paul Wilson, age 40 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence.

Benjamin Hobbs, age 40 of Rockmart,Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of public intoxication.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 81 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
