In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Lisa Bennett, age 44 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of fugitive from justice.

Stevie Thompson, age 35 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 80 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
