3rd Annual Crawfish Festival Set for May 23 at Hokes Bluff Ferry

HOKES BLUFF — Seafood lovers, music fans, and families alike are invited to attend the 3rd Annual Crawfish Festival at Hokes Bluff Ferry on Saturday, May 23, for a day of food, entertainment, and community fun.

The free event will begin when gates open at 12 noon and promises activities for all ages throughout the afternoon.

Festivalgoers will have the opportunity to sample crawfish prepared by competing teams and help decide the crowd favorite by casting votes through tips given to participating teams. Organizers say the tasting competition has become one of the event’s most popular attractions, giving attendees a chance to enjoy a variety of cooking styles and flavors.

In addition to the crawfish competition, families can enjoy kids’ inflatables and other activities designed to provide entertainment for younger attendees.

Live music will also be featured during the festival, with Gavin Bass scheduled to perform.

Organizers say the annual event continues to grow each year and offers something for everyone, whether attending for the food, music, or family-friendly atmosphere.

Community members are encouraged to bring friends and family and enjoy an afternoon of fun at the Hokes Bluff Ferry during the Memorial Day weekend celebration.
