Ribbon Cutting on A New Business Expansion
Gary, Tina, Seth and Kendall Gordon officially held a ribbon cutting for Little River Marina and Lodge Tuesday morning at 10am. The Gordon Family purchased the facility in June of 2025 and began an eleven month adventure of remodeling, rebuilding, cleaning and clearing to get it to where it is today, open and ready for business.

The Chamber of Commerce, Cedar Bluff Mayor and his wife Janet, Cedar Bluff Town Council Members, County Commissioner, family and friends, and local business owners, turned out to wish the Gordon’s the best with their new venture.

During this short period of time, they moved the store and bait shop to the boat repair shop. They invited Woody’s Restaurant to open in the marina with both dining inside or on the patio overlooking Little River. The Restaurant is open 7 days per week serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seth Gordon told the group, 22 of the 29 motel rooms have been completely gutted and remodeled with everything new. He said they hope to have the Campground completed by the summer of 2026 providing 40 campsites.
The Marina is still being upgraded along with the Campground but they are open for business. It is a great destination for fishing, swimming, boating, picnicking, or dining out. For more information or reservations call 256-779-6461.
